One of my favorite summer recipe discoveries is Italian Lemonade made with basil, courtesy of Giada De Laurentiis via FoodNetwork. In fact, I love it so much I painted it on my recipe box! (More recipe boxes later). The only modification I made was to use more sparkling water, but this personal preference.
Try it and see why basil adds a deliciously unexpected twist to a traditional recipe!
